Private Catskills Camping! Hemlock Falls Camping offers the beauty of waking up immersed in nature but without the hassle. Each of our four canvas tent sites sleep two with a queen sized bed with lux bamboo linens, have covered decks, camp kitchen, BBQ grill (charcoal) and fire-pits all private to you! Please note: - Guests must be 21+ - Pup friendly (add'l fee) - Reservations are rain or shine Sites are hike-in, The Glen site is about a 10-min hike from the parking area Guests must arrive before 8p for check-in. Hemlock Falls opts out of the traditional tourist trap where sites are crowded together at the expense of your experience. Our tents are nestled in groves on the property, located separate from one another so that you can truly relax. → Shared access to our 50 acres of forest property with 3 waterfalls and 2 shallow swimming holes (shared with other guests) → Shared access to the outdoor hot shower facility (shared among guests) → Free parking. All of your gear will be transported down to the tent site with our ATV → Covered outdoor kitchen with propane cook-top, prep area & kitchen essentials → Outdoor eating area (uncovered) → Please note that there is no standard electricity, WiFi, TV, and cell service can be spotty in areas Semi-self-check-in. You will need to provide an estimated 30-min window of when you will arrive. We do not accommodate check-ins past 8:00 pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8:00 pm do not book this campsite. It is too dangerous to walk in a forest that you are not familiar with in the dark. We recommend arriving before 4:00 pm in order to have some daylight and time to get settled before nightfall. Upon arrival please park in the designated spot for your campsite. From there you will gather all belongings that you would like delivered to your campsite. These will be brought down to your site within 30-min of your arrival. We deliver these with our ATV. Someone will be available to sign you in, go over safety details, answer questions and give you a map of the property with the trail you need to hike to get to your tent site highlighted. Guests will hike approximately 5 to 15 minutes to their campsite. The trails are clearly marked and there are many signs to help point you in the right direction. PLEASE NOTE: Arrive in proper walking attire, not flip-flops, sandals, or similar. Sneakers, or hiking boots are recommended. Parksville is a small rural town located in the foothills of the Catskills Mountains. It's in the early stages of being revitalized. Nearby attractions: → Cabernet Frank's (Live music & BBQ). → A yoga studio is a short walk down the road and The Rail Trail is located approx. 1 mile away. → Livingston Manor (10 min drive) → Roscoe, aka Trout Town USA, is a 15 min drive → The next town over is Liberty. Perfect for essential shopping (Rite Aid & ShopRite). The best way to get to Hemlock Falls Camping is by car → Important items to pack * Hiking boots or trail sneakers * Swimwear (weather permitting) * Water shoes (weather permitting) * Beach towels (weather permitting) * Floatie (weather permitting) * Warm layers for the evening * Hat or visor * Cooler for beverages * Insect repellent * Sunscreen * Phone charger & power bank * Ice, food and drinking water * Charcoal & lighting agent * Paper towels → Only booked guests are allowed on the property → Check-in involves a hike 5-10 min hike into your campsite → Shower facility is shared among guests and is located near the Fieldstone site → Outside firewood is prohibited. We do this to prevent the spread of tree diseases and invasive insects that could quickly kill our forest. Included is one (1) fire-starter kit. Additional firewood is available for purchase → All food items and food garbage must be kept in the provided animal resistant cooler and garbage bins. This cooler is secured away from the tent for guest's safety.
